Who am I?

I’m your standard 9-5 working dad, trying to fit it a sporty lifestyle whilst juggling a busy family and social life. My son was born in February 2017, and of course he gets all our attention.

At this point, I was quite overweight and unfit. That is until 2 colleagues and I decided in May 2017 to go for the Amsterdam Marathon(15/10/2017). One thing lead to another and I’ve now caught the bug.

What’s the point of this blog?

To motivate myself, and hopefully others, to continue on the healthy path I’ve chosen. I want to share the ups and downs of dealing with the daily struggle between training, family & working life and social commitments.

I’ll also share all the training schedules that I follow. These schedules have been set up by my doctor to fit my capabilities but also my diary of course.
